2010 RCGA Handicap System Workshops

Attendees will learn how handicap factors are determined, how tournament scores work into the equation, how to compete equitably from different sets of tees, when to post scores and which scores are acceptable for posting. The role of the RCGA, BCGA, Handicap Committee and Player will be clarified and will show how these four groups working together make the handicap system work.

If time permits, we will also review some of the changes to the Decisions on the Rules of Golf, effective January 1, 2010.

2010 Rules of Golf Workshops

Rules of Golf Workshop - Fraser Valley
April 9, Chilliwack Golf & Country Club
This one day workshop is for both the novice and rules savvy. Morning session is presented inside with time for questions and answers. RCGA Level 3  Provincial Rules of Golf Seminar
April 16 - 18, Fort Langley Golf Club
This seminar is for those who have completed Level 2 of the RCGA Rules of Golf program or equivalent. The following link will provide full details and registration information.

RCGA Level 4 National Rules of Golf Seminar
The BC Seminar will be held March 18 - 21 at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver. Participants must be certified at level 3 or equivalent. Please follow this link for full information on the RCGA Rules Education Program -  RCGA Rules Education Information.
