Player Development Trust Fund
Mission
The Player Development Trust Fund (PDTF) is the charitable arm of the British Columbia Golf Association. Its mandate is to help ensure that all deserving young amateur golfers have the opportunity to develop their skills to the best of their ability regardless of financial circumstances.
History
The Player Development Trust Fund was developed in 2002 and is managed by eight volunteer directors. All administration costs are borne by the BC Golf Association. In 2007, the Fund distributed approximately $40, 000 for player assistance, coaching and scholarships. 100% of all money received is distributed.
