Handicap Frequently Asked Questions
I have never had a registered handicap and therefore would like to establish this. I do not belong to any club either. What is the best way to do this?
The Province Golf Club has been established for golf players who do not have membership in a Golf Club. Membership is open to all golfers residing in BC who do not belong to a member club of the BCGA and who regularly play at public facilities and pay a green fee. Please follow the BCGA Player's Club link for more information and an application form.
I belong to a golf club that is part of the BCGA/RCGA Network. How do I enter my scores at my home golf club?
BCGA members who belong to clubs that are using the BCGA/RCGA Network can view handicap factors online via the BCGA website. You will need a Username & Password in order to access the site. If you do not have a Username or Password, please contact your club administrator. The club administrator is the person with access to Usernames for the club members. Also, If you have forgotten your Username or Password, please contact your club administrator. Here's how you can access the site:
- From the BCGA website, www.bcga.org
- Click THE RCGA NETWORK
- Log-in with your username and password
- From MY HOME PAGE, click the POST TOTAL SCORE button.
- Enter the “Date of Score”.
- Select the “Course Name”. (Note: To search the RCGA NETWORK course directory, click the search course directory link)
- Select the “Holes Played”.
- Select the “Type of Play”.
- Select the “Tee Box”.
- Enter the “Total Score”.
- Click the POST SCORE(S) button.
- Repeat for additional rounds.
- Click the MY HOME PAGE button.

Yes, the BCGA/RCGA Network is web based. Therefore you can post your scores from anywhere in the world once you have access to a computer that has internet access.
