Golf Whistler

One of the dreams of all golfers has to be a golf trip to Whistler.  The Whistler area is home to four award-winning golf courses designed by internationally-renowned architects and players Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent Jones Jr., Arnold Palmer and Robert Cupp. Taking full advantage of rugged Coast Mountain surroundings, these expert course architects have helped make Whistler a world-class golf destination famous for challenging play and spectacular scenery.  Whistler is of course, known internationally as a ski resort, and its après-ski activities are also available to golfers.

Follow in the footsteps of the pros at the Nicklaus North Golf Course, site of the 2005 TELUS Skins Game in which Vijay Singh, John Daly, Stephen Ames and Jack Nicklaus himself competed. Nicklaus North lies on the shore of Green Lake and is well known for its conditioning and challenging design.

At the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club you’ll discover firsthand why the readers of Condé Nast Traveler have voted it among the top ten golf resorts in the world.  It climbs up from the level of the hotel to a benchland on the side of Blackcomb Mountain where the views of Whistler Valley are spectacular.

 Stroll just a few minutes from the heart of Whistler Village and play a round at the Whistler Golf Club, the first course Arnold Palmer chose to design in Canada. 

Whistler Golf Club winds through the valley and stands of pines.  Bears are frequently seen on the course, so keep your eyes open!

  At the Big Sky Golf & Country Club in the nearby town of Pemberton, take in unobstructed views of snow-capped Coast Mountain peaks while experiencing a level of service that has earned the praises of Golf Digest.  Big Sky was designed by noted course architect Robert Cupp.
